Seed Saving with Sunčana Pešak

On Saturday, April 25, starting at 12:00, the Bostanie community garden will host a workshop on preserving the varietal traits of garden crops through the technique of isolating flowers in cages.

The workshop will be led by Sunčana Pešak from Croatia, who will also present her latest expert publication in the field of seed saving, Ekološko sjemenarstvo i očuvanje biljnih genetskih izvora Seed Saving and Conservation of Plant Genetic Resources).

We'll also have the chance to exchange a few seeds along the way.

The event is supported by the International Visegrad Fund, as part of the project "Community Empowerment through Community Gardening".
